POST ICOM THOUGHTS

WOW.....what a conference!! MTTCLLC was in Kansas City, MO. last week (NOV, 14-16) attending the International  Conference On Missions (ICOM). It was an excellent event, filled with great speakers, music, and teachers. Along with hundreds of missions from all around the world. It was great to finally put the faces to many of the group leaders and team members of some  mission trips that MTTCLLC helped plan.

Our booth was located across the isle from the WISE Booth. WISE(Windward Island School of Evangelism) is where our son Brice, his wife Amanda, and three children are currently serving. They had a steady flow of visitors to their booth each day. Sometimes it was so packed that people overflowed into our booth, which was ok.

It was nice to see old acquaintances, and make some new ones also. Catherine and I visited with a number of people wanting information on mission group travel, and had many people interested in taking a Land of the Bible Tour, or a Faith Centered Cruise.

Over all it was great to see how God is using individuals in various ways and in various places to help spread the Word. If you have never attended an ICOM, I would highly recommend it. I promise that you will be overwhelmed by what you see, and hear.

The LANDS of the BIBLE Cruise

Mission Travel Tours & Cruises LLC in conjunction with ETS is organizing a chartered Faith Centered Cruise next October 17 - November 1, 2014. Sixteen amazing days. "Lands of the Bible - featuring guest speaker Dr. Monte Luker.

You will cruise aboard the Celebrity Silhouette. You will arrive at Rome and visit Alexandria, Egypt, Cairo Egypt, Bethlehem, Jerusalem, Galilee, Israel, Ephesus, Turkey, Corinth & Athens, Greece, Messina, Sicily, Naples & Pompell, Italy, and Rome. Return to the USA. There is also available a pre or post Rome Extension for a small charge.

Dr. Monte Luker is a professor of Hebrew Scriptures in the School of Theology of Lenori-Rhyne University at Lutheran Theological Southern Seminary. He has lived, studied, and taught in the Holy Land for the past 30 years. He has written various articles and authored a number of books. Dr. Luker has been Adjunct Professor of Bible at the Jerusalem Center for Biblical Studies since 1997.
